Practical Finance & Accounting Course

The 6-Month Practical Finance & Accounting Course is a career-focused program designed to develop practical accounting, taxation, financial reporting and business finance skills.

The program combines fundamental accounting concepts with hands-on training in Tally, GST, journal entries, MIS reporting, Excel, tax basics, financial analysis and corporate finance.

Learners will develop practical skills through real-world examples, accounting exercises, projects and application-based learning.

The program follows a Learn • Practice • Apply • Grow approach, helping learners build job-ready finance and accounting capabilities and prepare for entry-level opportunities in accounting, finance, taxation and business operations.

The objective of the program is to bridge the gap between theoretical accounting knowledge and practical workplace requirements through structured training and project-based learning.

Introduction to accounting concepts and principles, accounting terminology, accounting cycle, debit and credit rules, journal entries, ledger posting, trial balance, cash book, bank transactions and basic financial statements.

Practical exercises will be used to help learners understand how accounting transactions are recorded, posted and summarised in real business situations.

Introduction to Tally-based accounting workflows, company creation, ledger creation, voucher entry, sales and purchase transactions, receipts and payments, journal entries, inventory-related accounting and basic financial reports.

Hands-on practice will focus on recording real-world business transactions and generating accounting reports using Tally.

Introduction to GST concepts, GST structure, understanding GST transactions, input and output tax concepts, GST invoices, tax records and basic GST compliance processes.

The module also introduces income tax fundamentals and practical understanding of business taxation through examples and case-based exercises.

Practical Excel skills for finance and accounting, formulas and functions, data organisation, calculations, financial data analysis, tables, reports and basic MIS preparation.

Learners will create practical Excel-based reports and analyse business data to support accounting and management decisions.

Understanding financial statements, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow fundamentals, financial ratios, profitability analysis, business performance analysis and interpretation of financial information.


Practical case studies will be used to analyse financial statements and understand how financial information supports business decision-making.

Introduction to corporate finance concepts, financial planning, budgeting, working capital, business finance fundamentals and financial decision-making.

Learners will complete practical accounting and finance projects involving Tally, GST, Excel, MIS reporting, accounting records and financial analysis to demonstrate their job-ready skills.
Candidates should have completed 10+2 / Higher Secondary or an equivalent qualification.

The program is suitable for students, graduates, freshers and working professionals interested in developing practical finance and accounting skills.

Basic computer knowledge is recommended for effective participation in Tally and Excel-based practical training.
